Data and Reporting Coordinator

About This Position

The Data and Reporting Coordinator will support the data needs of the Workforce Development department, including the Medical, Hospitality, and Business career pathways. The Data and Reporting Coordinator will become knowledgeable in various data management systems utilized for internal and external reporting, including Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and Workforce One. This position is responsible for the collection, evaluation, and reporting of organizational data to be presented to key stakeholders, including government grants, foundations, board of directors, and the organization’s leadership team.

Salary range:
$54,000-57,000 plus benefits

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Entering and managing student data into multiple platforms
  • Perform regular data integrity and quality audits and communicating to staff about gaps in data
  • Create and submit data collection reports for grant reporting purposes
  • Collaborate with various teams to improve accuracy and quality of reporting
  • Troubleshooting information entry and retrieval issues
  • Support State, federal, and foundation grant evaluations and self-monitoring processes
  • Provide timely, ad hoc data reports
  • Provide recommendations for data collection and evaluation improvements
  • Train staff on data entry and retrieval processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications
  • 1-2 years of experience in a data specialist position preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in information management, data analytics, or a similar field.
  • Ability to read, interpret and verify data from multiple formats.
  • Ability to work independently on projects.

Additional Requirements

  • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
  • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.

Programs are divided into three primary areas: Refugee Services, Education and Employment Training Services, and Immigration Services. The Institute also provides advocacy for policy reforms and supports systems change that improve opportunities for New Americans to move their lives forward.
