The International Institute of Minnesota’s Asylum Case Management program offers recent asylum recipients assistance with social services and public benefits, as well as connection to local, state and federal programs.

Interpreters are provided as needed.

Support Services for Asylum Recipients

  • Application assistance
    • Social Security card
    • I-94 (Arrival/Departure Record)
    • State ID
    • Public benefits (SNAP, EBT, etc.)
    • Work permit preparation
  • School enrollment
  • General guidance on county programs
