With the weather getting colder, we are starting another year of our winterizing project! Many of our clients live in older homes/apartment complexes with drafty windows. By winterizing their home, we can prevent warm air from escaping and protection from the harsh temperatures. This is will not only keep their home warm and cozy, but also keep heating costs low.
Volunteers will help families properly install plastic shrink films onto windows.
The International Institute will provide volunteers with insulation kits that can be picked up at our office.
Volunteers must provide their own:
• Small Ladder
• Measuring Tape
• Hair Dryer (depending on kit instructions)
