Hospitality Program Manager and Instructor

Lynn Thompson began working at the Institute in 2015 as an AmeriCorps Opportunity Corps member in the Nursing Assistant Training program. Wanting to continue serving adult learners, she pursued her TEFL certificate and began teaching in the English department.

In 2018 Lynn became the Program Manager and Instructor for the Hospitality Career Pathway. She is passionate about helping New Americans to overcome barriers to employment through education, empowerment and advocacy.
