Anti-Trafficking Case Management
Internship Overview
The Anti-Trafficking Case Management Internship provides students with opportunities to learn about sex and labor trafficking in Minnesota, specifically as it affects the immigrant community.
The Anti-Trafficking Case Management Intern will work with foreign-born survivors of human trafficking to help them achieve safety and stability. The intern will learn about trauma-informed care, become familiarized with community resources, and learn about the immigration process.
About the Internship

Examples of direct services that the intern may assist with include:
- Completing assessments
- Creating service plans
- Conducting home visits
- Making legal referrals
- Providing housing support
- Showing clients how to navigate public transportation
- Making referrals to community resources
- Comfortable in a cross-cultural environment and communicating with limited-English individuals
- Flexible, able to multitask, and willing to learn
- Second language ability, particularly Spanish, preferred
- Experience with computers and Microsoft products
- Minimum of 15 hours/week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm (days and times are flexible)
- The position is unpaid, though we are willing to work with the student if they are able to facilitate the earning of class credit through their internship or if they are interested in applying for compensation through a fellowship program.
