SNAP and Food Resources during Federal Government Shutdown

 

October 27, 2025 – Due to the federal government shutdown, for the month of November, SNAP benefits will not be issued to program participants. However, MFIP cash will be issued to program participants in November.

MN WIC has received additional funds to continue services into mid-November if the federal government shutdown continues. WIC families, please keep your WIC appointments, shop with your WIC card, and use your benefits. Questions? Call your local WIC clinic.
