Nora Griffin-Wiesner

Legal Assistant

Nora Griffin-Wiesner works as a legal assistant, supporting individuals and families with complex immigration matters and helping clients navigate barriers to legal status and citizenship.

Nora holds a B.A. in Sociology and International Studies from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and is completing a master’s degree focused on migration, displacement, and climate change at the University of Salamanca, Spain. Growing up in the Twin Cities, Nora began learning Spanish in a bilingual elementary school.

She later spent time living in Spain and Morocco, experiences that strengthened her ability to work effectively across cultures and languages. Her work with migrant communities takes a practical, culturally responsive, and multilingual approach centered on access, trust, and collaboration. At the International Institute of Minnesota, Nora is excited to continue her work to make her community more welcoming and accessible to all.
