Minnesotans continue to navigate changes to asylum, green card applications

June 8, 2026 | In the last month, there has been a flurry of changes in immigration policies.

On Friday, a federal judge ruled the Trump administration must resume processing asylum applications from 39 countries. The administration also sought to make major changes to the green card application process.
