Autumn is the oldest of 10 children and an immigrant daughter. Autumn is deeply drawn to be a part of International Institute of Minnesota because she wants to be a welcoming, reassuring presence for individuals. Autumn has a passion for volunteering and helping others. Previously, she volunteered at the Institute helping students apply for jobs and helping students with job interviews skills. She has also volunteered at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church since 2016.

She enjoys being the face of the Institute and enjoys using her organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations. Autumn strives in making sure every visitor and student feel safe, heard, and respected from the moment they walk through the door.

Autumn says immigrant families have always been the backbone of our communities. She adds that their courage, family values, and hard work enrich the fabric of our society. 

Autumn is fluent in speaking and writing in Hmong along with English. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her parents and traveling with her husband and daughter.
