Alejandra Takahira

Case Manager

Alejandra Takahira recently joined the Anti-Trafficking Team with the goal of supporting immigrants, refugees, and survivors of violence and exploitation in Minnesota. She has advocated for human rights through direct service and research in various organizations and values the importance of trauma-informed and culturally responsive case management.

As a new citizen of the United States, Alejandra is committed to helping immigrant individuals and families build safety, connection, and stability in their new home. She wrote her PhD dissertation on victim-survivors of trafficking and gender-based violence in Latin America and is dedicated to creating compassionate, survivor-centered services that focus on each person’s strengths, goals, and dignity.
