Housing Services
What We Do
When we resettle refugees, we welcome them to a safe, sanitary and stable rental home where they can begin again. At this time, we are unable to place refugees with host families.
This work is a team effort, made up of partnerships with landlords, our dedicated volunteers and our generous donors. Learn how you can become involved.
Become A Landlord Partner
When you become one of our landlord partners, you become part of a network of welcomers who cares about the safety and security of refugees working to build new lives.
As a landlord partner, you will receive:
- First and second months’ rent, deposit and application fee upon confirmation of housing
- A tenant with access to case management support and interpreting services
- A tenant with a strong desire to create a home and a future
- A tenant who has been trained in maintaining an apartment
All refugees resettled by the Institute:
- are authorized to work in the United States and receive employment services
- have received security clearance by the FBI and State Department
- are medically screened by healthcare professionals before arriving in the United States and again upon arrival
