Group Volunteer Opportunities
When you volunteer as a group, your time, skills and compassion make a meaningful difference in the lives of immigrants and refugees.
Please call or email us if you have questions about group volunteer opportunities or would like to schedule a virtual planning session. We’re excited to partner with you!

-
Canvas Tote Decorating
Each month, the Institute hosts a free Farmers Market. As a team, you’ll spend the day decorating canvas tote bags that students and clients can use to “shop” the Farmers Market for themselves and their family at no cost to them.
-
New Student Kits
The Institute offers free English classes, Community Workshops and College Readiness classes for New Americans. We welcome new students on a weekly basis. Help set them up for success by creating New Student Kits filled with essential school supplies.
-
Hygiene Kits
Help us provide basic hygiene supplies to our students and clients. Your team will assemble the supplies into kits, while learning more about the Institute’s programs and clients that we serve.
-
Household Kits
Providing household items goes a long way towards making a family feel welcome and stable in their new home. Your team will create Household Kits filled with the most needed essential items.
