Volunteers are an important part of our mission to help New Americans achieve self-sufficiency and full membership in American life. We couldn’t do this work without you!

 

To Get Started as a Volunteer:

  • Attend a Volunteer Information Session

    1. Check out our open positions below and attend a Volunteer Information Session if you’d like a general overview of our roles

  • Submit an Application

    2. Submit a Volunteer Application. Our Volunteer Manager will follow up within one week of applying to schedule a virtual interview to discuss your volunteer interests, availability, and next steps

  • Complete Onboarding

    3. All volunteers must complete onboarding forms, including a Volunteer Agreement and Background Check

The Homework Help Volunteer will work with English students individually or in small groups to meet a variety of needs.

Estimated hours/week: 1 hour/week, minimum 3-month commitment

The Entrepreneurship Classroom Assistant will assist classroom instructor and business navigator with classroom activities, which can include small group activities and one-on-one work.

International Medical Graduate (IMG) Mentors will provide support to International Medical Graduates (IMG) / internationally trained physician clients. 

Estimated hours/week: 6 meetings / 6 months
Option to continue after 6 months (with the same or another mentee)
