Learn how to read, write and speak English. Our free classes teach all levels of adult English classes for New Americans, from literacy to pre-college readiness. Our teachers will help you start the best class for your learning level.

About Our Classes
In person classes are at the International Institute of Minnesota (1694 Como Avenue, St. Paul MN). We also offer online classes. First, you will first need to register in-person. Then, you will need a computer with internet or a smartphone with the Zoom app. To join in-person classes, you will need proof of vaccination for Covid-19. Students of all immigration statuses are welcome.

Housekeeping Training
Learn cleaning skills to work in hotels, nursing homes, hospitals and office buildings. Class is for students with beginning English or no work experience in the U.S. Graduates receive help finding a job.

Classes at the International Institute of Minnesota are for adults born outside of the United States. You must currently be in Minnesota to take classes. Students of all immigration statuses are welcome.
Our classes and job trainings are free to students thanks to the generous monetary support from our community.
