New Americans Campaign

A

Help Immigrants Achieve Naturalization

At any given time, there are thousands of eligible New Americans in Minnesota who have not applied to become U.S. citizens. High application costs and language barriers prevent many eligible refugees and immigrants from applying. The Institute helps eliminate these barriers by:

  • Offering affordable, accredited legal assistance
  • Screening all clients for a fee waiver or reduction to the $760 USCIS application cost
  • Offering free citizenship classes to prepare clients for their interviews
  • Providing filing assistance and case updates

U.S. citizenship opens many opportunities to New Americans, including security, access to higher paying jobs and the right to vote. Your donation makes achieving the power of citizenship possible for New Americans.
