Michael Donahue

Associate Director

Michael Donahue has been working at the Institute since 1999. Before moving to Minnesota, Michael worked for 20 years in New York City as a high school and middle school teacher, in church ministry, and at a social services and political asylum office. His undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy is from Fordham University. He has a Master of Divinity degree from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley and a Master of Science degree in Urban Affairs from Hunter College of the City University of New York.

Michael is humbled and honored to work on behalf of the New Americans who receive services at the Institute and to share their life stories and dreams. He is also delighted to work alongside so many extraordinary co-workers.
