Are you an immigrant with entrepreneurial dreams or already running your own business? Please join the International Institute of Minnesota at our upcoming Immigrant Small Business Resource Fair, a FREE event designed to support immigrant entrepreneurs like you.
This event gathers small business experts and resources to offer a unique learning and networking opportunity. Please join us on September 13! Registration is free, but required for this event.

9:30 – 10 a.m. | Check-in
10 – 11 a.m. | Immigrant Entrepreneur Panel
We’ll start the day by hearing from experienced immigrant business owners who understand both the challenges and joys of running a business. Our featured speakers include:

Meet Our Presenters
Prepare + Prosper: A non-profit organization that works with individuals and families to build brighter financial futures. Prepare + Prosper believes everyone deserves access to financial wellness, economic justice and wealth-building opportunities regardless of income. We provide free services as well as access to low-fee and no-fee banking options.
Propel Nonprofits: An intermediary organization and certified community development financial institution (CDFI). They provide capacity-building services and access to capital to support non-profits in achieving their missions, including the ability to link strategy, governance and finance.
MEDA (Metropolitan Economic Development Association): Founded in 1971, MEDA is committed to helping BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) entrepreneurs succeed. They believed wealth creation is key to creating racial economic equity and that successful BIPOC Entrepreneurship is the clearest path to creating wealth. MEDA fulfills its mission by providing integrated, wrap-around services in the three areas all entrepreneurs need to succeed: Management Education, Money, and Market. In our first fifty years, MEDA has served more than 25,000 BIPOC entrepreneurs.
