Refugee Cash Assistance Coordinator

April started working at IIMN summer of 2021 as an Americorps Emergency Response Initiative member but was quickly hired as a part time Housing Case Aide in the fall during her final year of studying. After graduating in 2022 from the University of Minnesota with a degree in German and Linguistics, April left IIMN to teach English in Austria for a year.

She couldn’t stay away for too long because she’s excited to be back and learn more about the services we provide to clients as a Refugee Cash Assistance Coordinator. Getting to work with such dedicated staff and motivated clients brings her joy and energy to her work.
