Senior Manager, Resettlement & Matching Grant Program

Aziza moved to the US from Ethiopia in 2008. She speaks Oromo, Amharic and English languages. With an educational background in human services and administration related work experience, she was first connected to the Institute as an intern.

Aziza has now been working at the Institute for the past 10 years and has held multiple positions within the Refugee Services Department serving New Americans. Aziza currently works as a Senior Manager for Resettlement and Matching Grant programs, leading the resettlement team and supporting the department director. Aziza is a mother of 3 and enjoys spending time with her family and long walks by the lake.
