Reception and Placement Case Manager

Courtnie Georgalas is new to the Institute and serves as one the Reception & Placement Case Managers. She is from Ohio and attended The Ohio State University – go Buckeyes! – where she majored in Political Science and International Studies. While there Courtnie interned for Senator Sherrod Brown as well as with the Department of State Crisis Management and Strategy team.

After college she spent a year as a Team Leader with AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps where she served in multiple communities leading teams on different community service projects. Courtnie hopes to use her experience in crisis management and team building at the Institute and is excited to get started in this new role and begin assisting clients!
