Emily Linder

Legal Assistant

Emily Linder provides intake and case management support to all the immigration services provided by the Institute. She also serves as the primary Afghan Legal Services contact and works to connect Afghan clients to appropriate legal services. Emily has a background in anthropology.

Following herundergraduate studies, she completed a year of service in Minneapolis, where she worked with refugee clients in both refugee resettlement and immigration. She continued to work with refugees in the Twin Cities until she moved to Chicago to pursue her master’s degree in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies at DePaul University. Upon completing her master’s degree, Emily moved back to Minnesota.
