Greg Gramza

Grant Writer

Greg Gramza has been the Grant Writer at the Institute since December 2019. In his role, Greg leads funding proposal projects to foundations and government agencies with the support of program managers and directors. He crafts each application. He also provides funders with grant and outcome reports and provides grant and agency revenue projections to the Development Director.

As parts of both sides of his family fled Eastern Europe during World War I, Greg was raised with the family stories of seeking refuge in the United States and the challenges of simultaneously navigating a new home, a new language and employment. Inspired by those events and the stories from other New Americans, Greg works to increase the capacity of the Institute’s programs to welcome and serve New Americans as they adjust to life in a new community and begin a pathway towards self-sufficiency.
