Zahra Halboon started working at the Institute in 2012 as a case aide, assisting refugees with resettlement. Working here fulfills her passion to help and assist New Americans thrive in Minnesota.

Being able to see the tremendous progress families make during a short time, and the positive team environment at the Institute motivates and encourages Zahra to keep doing the work.
