Recipes for you, from around the world

November 23, 2022 | Between your traditional, holiday food favorites this season, we invite you to mix it up with recipes from around the world. English language students at the International Institute of Minnesota contributed their favorite recipes to a cookbook, which we tested, photographed and compiled into Cooking for for Life: Recipes from Around the World.

English Language Program Manager Stacy Varney Dietrich developed the cookbook as part of a project-based learning activity with translanguaging. Now we’re sharing a few of the recipes with you as a way of saying thank you. We are grateful year-round for each of you – our students, clients, supporters and volunteers. Enjoy!
